Barbara Fischer was a resident in Miami, Florida who had just recently moved from Brazil. As a jewelery designer and frequent entertainer, she needed an apartment that could function both as work and play. Her love for Bauhaus furniture and bright colors influenced my design of her Miami apartment. The last consideration was that she was an older client and would like to continue living in this residence later on in life. The additional thought of aging in place was another important design influence.
